Take a Fingerprints Sheet home and record your fingerprints for your own file. Make sure to keep them in a safe place and DO NOT bring them back to the library. This can be counted as a fun sheet on your activity log.
Materials Needed:
Fingerprints Sheet
Soft Pencil
Clear Tape
Instructions:
Use a soft pencil to make a dark spot about the size of a finger on this paper. Make sure to fill it in completely by going over it several times. Take a piece of clear tape about 2 inches long. Touch the very ends of the tape and hang it from the edge of a table. Then press a finger gently in the darkened pencil spot and roll it slightly from side to side. Then place the tape over the end of that finger and place the tape on the fingerprints sheet over the matching finger. Repeat this until all of your fingers are done.
