Make a Butterfly

1. You will need two sheets:
One with a small square.
One with a large square.
2. Cut along the solid line.
3. Fold along the dotted lines. It should look like a
fan.
4. Set aside the two folded pieces.
5. Take a pipe cleaner and bend it in half.
6. Twist the pipe cleaner about two inches from
the end.
7. Take the two folded papers and pinch together
in the middle.
8. Wrap the pipe cleaner tightly around the two
papers.
9. The part of the pipe cleaner that is free become
antennae of the butterfly. You can shape these
as you like.
10. Use your fingers to open up the wings of the
butterfly. Press on the fold near the butterfly’s
body to keep the wings open.
