Area Teens are invited to participate in the Mitchell Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, "YNK - You Never Know Your Library." The craft part of the program runs from May 21, 2007 to July 20, 2006. The reading part of the program runs from May 19, 2007 until school starts in the fall. Teens are invited to come to the library and take part in special events offered throughout this time. Registration will start on May 19, 2007. Teens can pick up an "YNK Log" or a "Pirate Map Log" at that time and can begin reading to earn books. Registration can be done online or at the Mitchell Public Library. "YNK Logs", "Pirate Map Logs", and Fun Sheets can be printed off the fun sheet web site. Teens will earn books by reading or listening to books, reading magazines or newspapers, completing fun sheets, doing book reviews, and doing crafts. Help decorate the Teen Area. Ahoy matties, sign up for the pirate ad'enture o' the summer. All pirates will be put t' work. Brin' your empty Prin'les container t' make your own telescope o' color. Gar, Where can I find a book?
